Reports to: Network Administrator

Department: Administration/IT
1. Diagnose hardware and software problems.
2. Provide training to staff regarding IT issues/topics.
3. Assist with IT related problems when called upon (password resets, account unlocks, basic Active Directory/Microsoft 365 account work, onboarding and offboarding user accounts, etc.).
4. Offer basic desk phone and softphone support.
5. Track, prioritize and document requests using an IT support request system.
6. Install and configure new computers and other IT equipment.
7. Repair and upgrade different types of computers (hardware and software).
8. Identify problems with printers and collaborate with managed print services.
9. Inventory IT supplies and equipment e.g. cables and adapters.
10. Assist with server and network appliance updates and maintenance.
11. Crimp and run ethernet cables in the organization.
12. Research and learn about new software in the market that relates to the organization’s functions.
13. Help document systems.
14. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on, practical IT experience. Manufacturing IT experience is desired. Working knowledge of Office 365 and basic network shares is required. Experience with ThreatDown Endpoint Protection, Barracuda Firewall, Ubiquiti networking is a plus.
CompTIA A+ minimum, Net+ and/or Sec+ desired.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee spends about 80% of the week in an office environment. The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet. The remainder of the week is in a production environment. While working in production, the employee is often exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles; toxic, flammable or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat and regularly exposed to the risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This is a full-time position Monday - Thursday from 7:30am - 4:45pm. Friday 7:30am - 2:15pm. Special projects may require overtime work, including weekends.
